FSinsider has just announced there new expansion pack called Acceleration. To view a trailer click here. Its said to be out this spring! It will add extra racing withen multiplayer. It will also add these new airplanes: F/A-18A Hornet, P-51D Mustang and EH-101 helicopter.

Microsoft has really turned FSX into a game, deigned for people that aren't simmin' made like us lot. But I like the ey candy although people say it ruins it.

Hmm - I don't know if its still a game when there's two or more of you going flat out, 50 foot above the deck, round a course .. with the realism set to "real world" ... we've done some racing round Plymouth (UK), although the winner is still under dispute for cutting a corner :)

Gamers in Holland (now I'm talking ;)) still don't see FSX as a real game but just as a bit of flying. Also they can't believe what the point is behind those flights, and don't get the feeling that when the're flying above a city the're above a city(autogen kills frames). <_<

This add-on looks rather nice but I'm certainly not going to buy it because I'm more commercial, with all the FMC, flight planning and autopilot stuff. ;)
