I decided to take an evening flight into adverse weather to practice the instrument scan and decision making, so I got onto Active sky and shot between two airports on opposite sides of KATL airspace(which is huge BTW). I chose the RealAir Duke, which is one of the best planes available for FSX, it has a liquid smooth 3D instruments and beautiful cockpit lighting. Also this weekend I start my Complex engine training, So I wanted something...complex

Climbout to 4500, gotta love the duke


Weather goes south thanks to ASE


Decided to get above it as I don't know the local terrain


Hit about 8500 to clear the cloud layer


Slowly descending back to 4500, here I am trying to stay above the delta airspace of a regional airport while efficiently descending

There's some dramatic lighting going on in those last few pics, with the silhouette shot being my favorite too. Good luck with the complex stuff too, its next on my list to do some complex engine training, albeit single engine, so I can take the C172 out at the local flying club.

@ Dredd, my goal is to become an aerobatic pilot., so I got the taildragger endorsment, and now the complex engine. I want to fly the superdecathlon eventually.

It's actually hard to find aerobatic training, and I can't find a single superD in all of Tampa FL.
