Hi all,

I posted a flight plan here of the real world Victor 1 flight along the Sydney coastline at 500'. Here's some screenies from when I eventually got to fly it this afternoon on VATSIM.


Just off Bondi Beach and looking towards Sydney city



Starting the run in for Harbour Scenic One

Left turn over the harbour. I've done this during my PPL (abandoned in 1989) and was so busy concentrating on getting the turn right I probably only saw about 2 seconds of the view


After two orbits, tracking out to North Head


The end of the coastal part. About to turn inland to start heading back to Bankstown

Looks cool. X-plane water is nice, is it standart water or an addon?

Thanks Thomas. It's standard water reflections in XP. I have modified sky colours though, still a bit unsure if I like them.

Thanks again for a nice flight Stevo, you keep postin' em, I'll keep flying them. It's nice to have a guy on the ground in Australia who knows about these scenic flights, I feel like all that Orbx scenery I got is just going to waste

Orbx really knows how to do a coastline

I deviated a little to check out the downtown

I increased my active sky settings to see if my system could handle it, we did okay

Love this plane, you can make insanely steep approaches and the speed is totally under control

on the ground no problems
